Who Are We

A Grassroots effort...

The Kitsap Children’s Museum is a grassroots effort by members of the community to create an interactive environment for families and children to explore, learn, laugh, create, and challenge themselves to become positive and productive members of a global society.

Our Mission

The mission of the Kitsap Children’s Museum is
to serve the needs and interests of children and families by
providing exhibits and programs
that stimulate curiosity and motivate learning.

Our Vision

The vision of Kitsap Children’s Museum is to be an open, welcoming, and inclusive community for diverse families and children, enabling them to explore their world through hands on insightful experiences, in order to make sense of their world.

What's next for
Kitsap Children'sMuseum
in 2023-2024?

This year we will be a growing year for Kitsap Children's Museum and a year of exploration!

We will continue to sponsor events for the families and children of Kitsap County.  Admission to our Investigation Exploration Events is pay what you can with a suggested donation of $10 per family.

We will offer activities and programs at local schools and festivals as well.

Our exploration will take on the quest of a feasibility study so that we have the information to present to our community and sponsors on the viability of a children's museum for our families.
